Problems of holux logger utility 1.1.0.48

  This problem still resist – I have a m-241 with v1.13 rom. If you try to download an track with HOLUX logger utility 1.1.0.48, it not generate the route, only the start and endpoint. With 1.1.0.47 it work fine.
  Seams that the HOLUX support don’t care about this bug!!! 

  • since they don't update the logger utility, they don't fix the problem
    holux is now my sponsor, but i think they will end the m-241 product and stop the support.
    anyway, i'll ask them to fix the bug again.

  • holux suggest to use eztour, but need to purchase a sn.
    i'm not satisified with this reply, but aanyway, we can use different utility for different rom.

• Hey! I've just bought the Holux GPS M-241 and I have the same problem as Yours. On package CD with software there is ezTour for Logger v. 1.03 and serial number with it on te CD. There is no Holux Logger Utility on CD, which helps to convert track from GPS memory to GPX / KMZ / NMEA files. I have only Mini GPS Lite for PC 1.5.2 for checking the satellites with Holux and Gps Viewer 1.0 which does exactly the same (but that program does not work - not connectin via COM port to Holux). After downloading track file with Holux software (.trl) I got nothing in it (0 kbyts). ezTour shows only start and end points. My Holux M-241 has V1.13 ROM firmware. Maybe I am doing somethng wrong, but I'm little dissapointed with these Holus GPS. My Nokia N82 with WhereAmI+ soft records GPX tracks with no problem at all!

  • sometimes i use eztour v1.03 with sierial number, it works well, you can try more times. if you need holux utility 1.0.48, i'll find a url for you later, i'm using mobile phone now.
